I am a visiting scholar at Virginia Tech researching computer science education for AI-assisted programming. My broader interests lie at the intersection of HCI, learning science, and artificial intelligence. I’ve received over $20,000 in research grants from Emergent Ventures, Foundry10, and the Lift Off Grant to support my research. My interests lie in the use of intelligent tutoring systems and pedagogical AI tutors to support advanced problem solving, critical thinking, and end-user programming. I am mentored by Annapurna Vadaparty (UCSD), David Smith (Virginia Tech), and Qianou Ma (Carnegie Mellon).
